CESBIO has about 130 staff members, 65 of whom are permanent employees. Its main location is in Toulouse on the campus of the Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées. The CESBIO is also located in Auch, 80 km West of Toulouse, on the premises of the University Technological Insitute. Finally, several people are based with our partners abroad, on expatriation or long term missions (Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, India).
CESBIO is organized according to a matrix structure. Staff (excluding support services) are divided between two teams (modelling and observation systems), and research work is carried out within the framework of 6 operational programmes.
