MUSCATE News : 20000 + 93

=>THEIA passed two new milestones in this beginning of summer :

• The number of Sentinel-2A Level2A products just passed the 20000 milestone, with the complete collection of French oversea regions, and new sites along the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Mekong rivers. These sites where chosen by a research team from the GET laboratory in Toulouse.
• the publication of the first 93 snow masks produced at 20m de resolution, over a few selected tiles in the Pyrenees, Alps and Atlas mountains. After surface reflectance and land cover, it is the third operational product for Sentinel-2 that comes out of the expertise centers of Theia.

In one month, we release 5000 products, despite last weeks during which our production was hampered by maintenance and improvements of PEPS platform. But good news,the teams have obtained a correction of MUSCATE Friday night bug, which had been limiting the production rate of MUSCATE for a few months. The correction will be installed next week, and our production rhythm will be hopefully doubled.
