[Closed] Post-doc position : join the MAJA team !
CNES has opened a 2 years post-doc position within CESBIO laboratory, to help improve the processing of optical remote sensing images such as those of Sentinel2. The topic is entitled “Improvement of atmospheric adjacency effects modelling and correction”. The atmosphere tends to blur the optical images, and the modelling of this phenomenon is currently rather inaccurate. The accuracy of the images is therefore not perfect. The post doc objective is to improve the correction of this effect on the images by setting up a more accurate modelling.
The CESBIO lab is a very active laboratory in all fields of land remote sensing, and the beautiful Toulouse city is the place to be for Space science, good food, mountain activities in the Pyrenees, sea activities in the Mediterranean sea or Atlantic ocean, or to visit a beautiful countryside.
