National Center for Remote Sensing
The Remote Sensing Center (RSC) from CNRSL was conceived as support for decision making and has proven its role as a revolving platform among various ministries. Whether in watershed management, Forestry, urban settlements, archaeology and the environment, integrated coastal zone management, public participation, natural hazards, natural resources (water, soil, biodiversity), the Centre is securing highly needed upgraded information as well as cooperating with several development projects necessary.

Ecole Supérieure Ingénieur de Beyrouth (ESIB)
The Beirut Engineering School (ESIB) of Saint-Joseph University is a French-speaking center of education and research at the service of the country and the region. The ESIB offers students solid training with a view to enabling them to acquire a high-level scientific and technical culture, in a certain number of important branches of the engineering profession, a culture which makes them operational both within the framework of the research and the design office than in that of the construction site and industry.
